Lee Miller led an extraordinary life: model, photographer, companion of Man Ray, friend to Picasso, wife of Roland Penrose. She took some of the most mesmerizing photographs at the end of World War II and was famously photographed in Hitler's bathtub. Now, a new film, starring Kate Winslet entitled Simply Lee, is coming out in December 2023. My Lee Miller Chapter of Landscapes of Holocaust Postmemory was generously re-issued by Routledge ahead of the film's wide release (it already screened at the Toronto Film Festival).
